Joe Rogan recently shared the real reason why Kamala Harris did not make an appearance on his podcast ahead of the 2024 election. Despite having President Donald Trump on the show for a highly anticipated episode in October, Harris did not follow suit.
Rogan had expressed interest in speaking to Harris, the vice president at the time, during his conversation with Trump. However, discussions with Harris’s team did not lead to her appearing on the Joe Rogan Experience, which boasts 14.5 million followers on Spotify.
In a recent podcast with guest Dan Richards, Rogan revealed that scheduling conflicts played a role in Harris not appearing on the show. He had committed to doing a live UFC podcast on the same day as the proposed interview with Harris, which led to timing issues.
Rogan clarified that while there were discussions about the interview, certain claims made in a new book about demands he had made for the podcast were not true. He emphasized that Harris’s team never agreed to do the show and that there were misunderstandings about the scheduling of guests.
Despite the missed opportunity to interview Harris, Rogan remains committed to engaging in meaningful conversations on his podcast. While the Harris interview did not come to fruition, Rogan continues to host a wide range of guests and tackle diverse topics on his popular show.
