The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim’s Limited Edition Steelbook includes 4K Blu-ray, 1080p Blu-ray, and digital versions of the new anime. Amazon offers a preorder price guarantee, ensuring you pay the lowest price available from the time of your order until release. It is surprising that Amazon’s starting price for this edition is $38, considering the popularity of Lord of the Rings and recent steelbook prices.
The steelbook design features character art of Helm Hammerhand (voiced by Brian Cox) and Hera (voiced by Gaia Wise). The case’s interior showcases a map of Rohan, a homage to the books that often include similar maps on the interior covers or as fold-out inserts.
Preorders are currently open on Amazon and Gruv, with Walmart’s listing expected to go live soon. Walmart is offering preorders for an exclusive steelbook edition of The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, set to release on January 7.
